Get to see the evidence of a once active volcano in the centre of Otago Harbour.

Expert and teacher, Jenna-Lee Pfeifer joins us on board Sootychaser to guide this special cruise and tour, as we travel right into the centre of Dunedin’s extinct volcano!

She will point out and tell you about the rocks and colours that surround us as we venture on the harbour between Portobello and Port Chalmers, taking in the views and unusual shapes.

You'll get to hold volcanic rocks and even dinosaur bones that Jenna-Lee brings along.

At the end, the children can help us explode our very own volcano on board!
