A one-hour talk by Daphne Lee, Emeritus Professor in the Geology Department, University of Otago. Her research interests include fossils of all kinds from diatoms to insects to plants and fish, paleoecology and paleoclimate. Her main focus over the past 20 years has been the remarkable fossil site near Middlemarch called Foulden Maar and many other sites in Otago and Southland. 

The Geology Museum is located in the Geology Department, opposite the Clocktower Building, Room GS13.
