Take a guided walk through Orokonui Ecosanctuary and learn how to photograph our beautiful native birds with expert photographer Paul Sorrell. 

Paul will share his tips and tricks for getting the perfect shot, with a focus on lighting, backgrounds, and composition. 

Passionate about bringing art and nature together through photography, Paul has spent many hours honing his craft out in the field and is the author of the 2021 photography handbook Getting Closer: Rediscovering Nature through Bird Photography.  

You can join Paul in the ecosanctuary’s café after the field trip to chat further about bird photography.
