It’s going to be a fun-filled day for the whole family with an artisan market, delicious food and beverages, live music, and entertainment, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy live performances from Kiwi favourites Suzy Cato and Anika Moa, and explore hands-on nature activities, interactive experiences, and so much more to learn and do throughout the day.
Plus take a bit of time out on the pitch with a family-friendly movie (Moana) so don’t forget your picnic blankets! It’s the perfect autumn Sunday out. We’re bringing the outside in, so bring the family, tell your friends, and celebrate the magic of New Zealand’s natural wonderland!
What to expect…
NZ’s Largest Yoga Session
Jo Woolley will lead a team of local yoga instructors on the central stage to kick off NatureDome as we attempt to break New Zealand’s largest yoga class record. We’re aiming for 600 participants, so come stretch with us! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned yogi, all are welcome. Let's break the record, Dunedin! Don’t forget to BYO yoga mats and water bottles. Kids are welcome at parents' own risk.) * Disclaimer below.

Anika Moa Live!
Anika Moa is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, TV presenter, and children's entertainer known for her soulful voice and sparkling Kiwi wit! From her rise to fame with debut album Thinking Room, Anika has worn many hats - all with inimitable style. From her early days as one of New Zealand’s favourite musical performers, to her up close and personal podcast, Anika Moa is a Kiwi icon not to miss!

Wild Dunedin Fave, Suzy Cato Live!
An absolute favourite at Wild Dunedin and fervent supporter of our festival, Suzy Cato is a beloved New Zealand children's entertainer, television presenter, and educator. She has influenced generations with her warm, engaging style and fun, engaging music that gets more than just the kids grooving! Suzy inspires learning through music and storytelling and we are thrilled to welcome her back to Wild Dunedin!

Wild Dunedin Kids Sing-a-long
Lead by the energetic Suzy Cato, a collection of kids from schools across Dunedin will gather together to perform a song specially chosen to celebrate the beautiful and diverse nature and wildlife of Dunedin.

Moana on the Big Screen!
Chill out and set up your own picnic spot and watch Disney’s epic musical children’s movie, Moana, featuring the voice talents of Kiwi actors Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement, and Rachel House, on the BIG SCREEN!

The Dunedin Rock Choir
Dunedin’s favourite (and only!) Rock Choir join us for an ensemble performance of some of their favourite rock songs. Their popular hits will have you toe-tapping and singing along with them!

Artisan Market Stalls
Discover unique handcrafted treasures at the local artisan market at NatureDome. From intricate jewellery and handcrafted products to organic skincare and homemade treats, each item is crafted with passion by talented local makers. Shop one-of-a-kind gifts and experience the creativity of our community here in Ōtepoti Dunedin. Don’t miss this chance to explore locally made art, decor, and more and support local!

Science Fun & Activations
Not just for the kids! Come and experience a range of hands-on science and nature activations. From volcanic eruptions to wave pools to a VR experience showing New Zealand’s amazing geology, there’s plenty of interactive fun to learn, see, and do! Make sure you check out Tůhura’s science demos, Our Food Networks worm farm, Dr Rock who will identify your rocks and fossils, and plenty more activities for all ages!

Enjoy a range of local food trucks and diverse flavours at NatureDome. From gourmet burgers to global street food, you’ll be spoiled for choice! Choose from fresh, high-quality meals and snacks, coffee and beverages, sweet treats and more! With options ranging from BBQ to vegan delights, there's something for everyone including the kids! Make a day of it, bring the family, and celebrate the fresh flavours of Dunedin!
