Join artist Moewai Marsh (Kāi Tahu, Ngāti Kahungunu ki te Wairoa) for a workshop on painting with whenua earth pigments.
10.30am – 12pm, Saturday 15 April
In this session, Marsh will demonstrate her process of mixing whenua paint, share painting techniques, and discuss some of her practice harvesting and working with the whenua.You will be guided through creating an artwork with whenua paint and will get to take your newly made piece of art home!
This is a beginner level workshop, open to all ages, all materials provided. Children must be accompanied by a guardian.
